Patient information: Call (203) 573-7300 to obtain the room telephone number for a patient staying at Waterbury Hospital, or to check a room location. Please note: Federal privacy laws require patients give us permission to release this information to any person, including family members.
Where to eat: Visitors are welcome to use the hospital cafeteria, located on the first floor of the hospital.Hours of operation are:
Breakfast:6:15 a.m.-10 a.m. Coffee Breaks: 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Snacks: 1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. Supper: 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
The Java Bar, located in the main lobby, offers drinks and snacks from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Vending machines are directly outside of the Cardiovascular Care Unit on the second floor.

Visiting Hours: General visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Chapel: Located off the lobby on the ground floor of Waterbury Hospital, the chapel is open 24 hours a day.Individual spiritual counseling is also available anytime upon request. All faiths are welcome. Call (203) 573-7213.
Patient Advocate: If you have questions or concerns about your care or stay with us, contact our Patient Advocate, Virginia Potrepka, at (203) 573-7386.
Insurance/Billing: Payment arrangements are set up with a financial counselor at the time of discharge. Financial counselors are available at your request if you would like to discuss payment issues. If you are uninsured or otherwise unable to pay your medical bills you may qualify for financial assistance. For more information, please ask to speak to a Financial Counselor or call (203) 573-7116 or (800) 600-0407. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
